Artist Biography: Painter, architect and etcher. Born Venice 1 December 1710; died there 18 January 1743. Spent early life in Dresden, wherehe worked as a scene painter and his work was highly esteemed. Later, he returned to Venice and made an album of etchings and painted numerous views of the city.
